It takes all my nerve to keep watching Our Ronnie... I'm all tense and just waiting for that Higgins/White-eque temperament melt down. And then I'm never close enough to give him a good slapping and screech, "Pull yerself t'gether man!".

I never mutter, I sit there concentrating intensely...until a crucial pot is missed, then I let it all out "Oh Jimmy!! you f**cking idiot! That's it! He's thown it away again!"

I'm not exaggerating when I say gutted, that's how I felt, absolutely gutted, like it was the end of the world. I imagine Jimmy felt ever so slightly worse though

It's a horrible feeling irre and one I've felt many times over the years from my love of snooker. In all honesty, I can take days sometimes to get over some things... sad as that may be.
Can't help it though. The feelings are very real at the time.


As for today - MASSIVE upset that Ding's gone out! MASSIVE

Another upset this evening too... Selby's out. Thankfully, Judd pulled it off when he needed to though.

Fair play to Judd Trump earlier. Playing after food poisoning and that.

He looked well out of sorts but finished better. Some of them pots down the cushions at pace! Awesome.

I've missed a lot of the snooker today I didn't get of 'til about 5pm I'll catch some highlights later
