| Hi with a prompt from Jane to get the finger out my partner and I forage wild foods and also teach others to do the same everyone on here has a free pass to the knowledge we have aquired over a number of years, what we want in exchange is skills that we need to function as a community, I have seen a few flourish and fail due to the fact that some people get greedy and want things for no input, the departure lounge is the first outdoor living meetup point where we can all talk face to face point to note this venue has been hand picked as it has no phone reception at all, we have all we need to be comfortable loo, water and a flat area to camp infact we have 2 areas and its a lovely spot, I will need numbers at least 3 weeks in advance pm me and i will give you loc stats on the wood |

That's hard-core, that is. Was with family member yesterday who was getting all emotional because he had forgotten his charger and couldn't use his phone all day. I never knew such areas still existed in the UK? Hope it goes well! |

| Woodstock and I have been thinking about the week end of the Queen's bank holiday, sort of Friday thru to Tuesday. (first week end in June) You can come for a day, a couple, or the whole shebang...up to you. As Woodstock said, PM him for full details and info about what you need to bring. Kids are welcome too, infact encouraged! Jane |

| Have a look on our website for a idea of kit www.woodstock-outdoorcrafts.co.ukI will pm you details of the meet location when you book your place, although our skills are free to you all there is a nominal fee for using the wood as we dont have any funding in place at this present time, it will be no more than £5 per person per night this goes into a kitty to fund projects in the wood. if you feel you cant afford it but would like to come we may be able to sort something out between us |

| Some of the activites we intend to cover at the woods
Shelter building, simple debris shelters, how to rigup a tarp with a few simple knots.
Knife and axe skills, sharps etiquette
fire management, building, lighting and maintaining your fire
how to make water safe to drink with and without the use of fire
food for free how and where to forage for wild food
just some of the basics, it will all be done in a relaxed and informal manner im sure you will all love it and hopefully get the bug to try out your new skills.
Departure lounge Jane..
No worries thoreau maybe soon when we build our round house be like home from home. |

Hats off to you It was never about money it is all about skill sharing, what I give out I recieve back big time and it will eventually help us all secure a place in a new and better future, that is why i did what i did, the good job nice house flash car and moved into a tipi in Wales I have never met such nice people apart from my Mum and felt so at ease for a long time, our journeys have many starting points but we all end at the same place where YOU are meant to be, not where people or society put you, you will always end up where you need to be |

Jane That'd be great, thanks Jane! I'm still going to have to get off my backside though. I need a rucksack, sensible footwear, clothes. I filled my CV in a couple of days ago, I'm just trying to come up with a good cover letter now |
