| It's complicated, this ethereal business. Well it is when you're me... Having been swimming against the tide, trying to find work for aaaaaggggeeeeees now... Suddenly, after months of rejection, a few weeks back, I got a job. Hurray! Then they asked me to come back to try for a higher up job which I hadn't even applied for. And I got that one instead. Another hurray! Was sitting blathering to someone about this news when a feather floated in through the car window. Oooh! I thought. Isn't that supposed to mean good stuff? Forgot all about it. And for the last few weeks have once again been struggling against some unseen tide, not being able to find a house that fits the bill and isn't £2000 a month in the new area. Sitting in the serene environment of a Travelodge the other night on a house scouting mission...I know...very chi chi and higher realm-like... I was getting SO frustrated. Practically all the viewings I'd booked had gone before I'd even got there. So I decided to ask no one in particular to bloody well show me the way forward...because I don't do floundering around like a faff arse! Show me the light!...I sort of shouted...to the A34 and a passing Burger King. Woke up in the morning...deeply deeply traumatised by a very erotic dream about David Cameron. I mean WTF?! It was bad. Whatever you just thought. Double it. Then just after 9am I got a phone call from an agent suggesting a house in David Cameron's constituency town! Hmm. These angels are perverts, I thought. Got there, reached down to pick my bag up from the floor of the car...and there was a white feather. Only the 2nd one ever. Windows had been closed due to big hailstorm and thunder. House was fab. Went on to see another house in another town...encountered road works, traffic jams, satnav wouldn't pick up the address, got lost, was half an hour late and the agent had to direct me in on the phone. ie Back to swimming against the tide.....and the house wasn't all that when I got there. So have opted for the other one! So. Two feathers plus an erotic dream about DC.... signposts from shhhhhpooky quarters that this is the path for me? Or do I have dead seagull stuck on my car roof and these flutterings are just evidence of my poor observational skills? And the David Cameron dream...do ethereal types send messages that are Xrated? Or were these fallen ones and I am now going to be recruited by the David Cameron Satanic Society- Oxfordshire branch? Typical that pure of heart types get airy fairies and I get the Prime Minister in a dungeon. I feel my enlightenment has some way to go.... |

| Poor Kat... Sex with DC - bad times. New job and new house - good times! Swings and roundabouts. Or maybe you have actually just sold your soul to the devil and that whole DC sex-act was you 'signing the contract', as it were? |

| Oh dear, sex with David Cameron! *shudders* Fear not, I doubt very much it means you find him desirable! I read somewhere that dreaming of sex with an authority figure might mean that for whatever reason you're feeling somewhat powerless, and you need to connect with the power you have within yourself - it's there for you, even if you aren't aware of it! Hope I've not spoken out of turn! Just remembering something I read! Mandy |

Meh...maybe ten years ago. I used to quite like Clegg until he turned into a whiney, gimp-bitch. I don't quite know why, but IDS makes me feel all dirty inside...
Is that in a good way or a bad way?! (Sorry - couldn't resist asking!) I can't think of a single politician I find even remotely attractive! It's probably to do with their fundamental untrustworthiness! Mandy |

Mandy Oh, it's all good Mandy. I just end up feeling so 'bad'... Ofc, in real life, I wouldn't touch him with a barge-pole. I make it a rule never to sleep with celebrities or politicians, and it is a rule which has served me well thus far. I'd definitely have a go if he were my milkman or something though...but then, maybe I wouldn't find him as attractive? Aren't I shallow? Hey-ho! |
