Maybe I should find the thread and do a bit of copying and pasting...

I don't think he's genuine from start to finish. I say again: I recognise most if not ALL of his writing from other writers - most often the originals, all long dead, no copyright on their works anymore. Like Tolle and Chopra et al, it's slightly changed to avoid being spotted, but it's plagiarised stuff alright.

And HE needs saving? Wot? He's supposed to be saving everyone else... but HE needs saving? He needs (Waking Up, I think it's called ).

...which is how, I think, Icke gets his BOOKS Same old same old, rehashed time after time.... until, I think, the posters on DIFs give a new angle or theory.

I can't find the thread. But someone said something negative about Icke, and i_am appeard straight away and said "He doesn't do things like that" How would she know?

I was looking for info on The Annunaki (sp?) for something I was writing, googled, and it brought up a thread on the DIFs. There were a good few other good threads there too - some really bright people post/ed there - and I joined. I really enjoyed mixing with many of those posters - a lot of them sadly gone now, within the space of a year - but right from the start I noticed how quickly talk against Icke was gagged.

But really vicious racism, homophobia, personal attack, attack on people's belief systems etc., was never limited. Still isn't.

I stayed (and am still on there for now) because I had a lot of laughs and interesting info from a good group of people. It was fun, for the most part of my membership.

But did I swallow anything of Icke's Teachings? Nah! I read much better writers; writers who theorise and try to teach with REAL conviction, and who allowed (and even welcomed) criticism of their works - if only because that showed their works strengths and weaknesses. EVERYONE developing a theory invites criticism of it - not just knocking and jeering, but proper and constructive pointing out of faults and areas that need developing. 'Cept David Icke.

And, really, let's none of us kid ourselves that Icke doesn't post on that forum, or read it a lot! Whatever Username he really goes under, you can see that he does read everything posted... because it turns up in his blurb soon after.

But, I mean, this is only my opinion. I'm not out to try and change anyone else's opinion of him and his work. I have no interest in doing that. So don't take my teasing and leg-pulling too seriously. If you like him, you like him and fair play to you.

When Icke says about the moon "why is it so big?" I say, in an infinite universe of infinite possibility, why not?

MissP do you think that the DI forum actually represents DI? I mead the rules as they are written and the methods by which they are applied etc.

Do you think the rules as they are written and applied are hypocritical beyond belief and contrary to the DI mantra?

What is it that makes a forum a forum? An individual who is claimed to be a mere figurehead or a community of individuals expressing themselves?

How successful would the DI forum be without the members? Not very? So where does the power lie and what is the attraction?

I have news for you DIF is on the way down and it has been suffering a slow and lingering death for the last three years. Its time to put the place out of it misery.

People have already started to discover the exits both voluntarily and in involuntarily and the rot is beginning to bite deep into the membership. You can't treat people the way they are treated there indefinitely and DIF needs members more than members need DIF. You can take that to the bank and say hi to David while you're there.
