| http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/cannibals-sold-human-flesh-in-pastries-7646633.html - Quote :
- Police in Brazil have arrested three people for allegedly killing at least two women, eating parts of their bodies and using their flesh to make stuffed pastries known as empanadas which they sold to their
neighbours.
Police said the three suspects – a man, his wife and his mistress – belonged to a sect that preached "the purification of the world and the reduction of its population".
The man, Jorge Beltrao Negromonte, reportedly wrote a 50-page book titled Revelations of a Schizophrenic in which he says he hears voices and is obsessed with the killing of women.
The three were arrested in the north-eastern town of Garanhuns and had confessed to the crimes, police said.
Right, you 'orrible lot. Just because I'm nosey and just because I want to try out this here 'poll' feature, would you knowingly eat human flesh? For those of you that regularly do, I'm not here to judge, but would like to hear your experiences.

Get it sorted man Well, it's one of those things you either would or you wouldn't. Circumstances are meaningless in this instance. For goodness sake, pick a moral stance and stick to it. |

For goodness sake, pick a moral stance and stick to it. I beg to differ. The circumstances are everything in this instance. So my stance therefore is... no I wouldn't eat it knowingly in any situation other than if my life depended on it. Neh |

| The thought of it fills me with revulsion.
Would I do it if my life depended on it?.....maybe/I wouldn't know until faced with this situation.
We don't hear of starving people in 3rd world countries doing this though...so would we, if faced with starvation, actually go ahead and do it?
I remember watching a film about a rugby team that had a plane crash and they ate the dead. 'Alive'. |

Who knows until the time may arrive... True ....who knows. I remember that at first the flesh was frozen......so it didn't seem like human flesh, but when the snow was melting and the flesh was soft.......horrid. |

Are you doing market research for a new business idea? Ab's Arseburgers? No...but that's a very good idea. Of course, you do realise that you're actually already eating quite a lot of arse (as well as lots of other nutritious 'goodies') in your average burger? How's this for a slogan? "Eat Ab's Arseburgers - it's ALL about the anal"? |

I remember watching a film about a rugby team that had a plane crash and they ate the dead. 'Alive'. That's a very good point. I'm sure it goes on all over to some degree already though. |

You're probably both right...it does go on...it's just not something that would usually be talked about. |
